Do you ever feel like there isn’t enough time in the day? Do you ever wonder how you could incorporate more resources and technology into your lessons? Do you ever feel alone or want someone there to help you out? All of these apprehensions can be laid to rest by entering into a collaborative planning session with me, your librarian. I can be a great resource in helping our students be successful in this ever changing world of 21st century learning. Creating collaborative lessons together can benefit the entire school community. I can help you incorporate Web 2.0 tools into your lessons which will engage students as digital natives and help you to embrace new ways of learning. By co-teaching, we lessen the student to teacher ratio and will be able to give students quicker feedback. We will share information, thoughts, and ideas, which will help us build a stronger professional relationship and take the burden of having to plan lessons alone off of your shoulders. Two heads are always better than one! Working collaboratively shows that we are a team; we are there to support one another, and ready to help students grow as collaborators who are critical thinkers and problem solvers. By doing this, we are doing what is best for students, ourselves as professional teachers, and the school’s atmosphere as a whole. So when you think of collaborative lessons, let me be your resource. Let’s plan, teach, and help students succeed together. Think TEAM…Together, EVERYONE, Achieves, More!
